UNICOMP UNC160 – 160 kV Industrial NDT X-Ray Inspection System
Model: UNC160
Brand: UNICOMP
Product Type: Industrial Radiography / NDT X-Ray Inspection System
Application: Non-destructive internal defect inspection for aluminium and iron castings, automotive components, wheels, resin cast parts, pressure vessels and industrial components
Overview
The UNICOMP UNC160 is a high-penetration industrial X-ray inspection system designed for non-destructive testing of castings, automotive parts, resin components and other industrial products where internal defects cannot be reliably identified through visual inspection.
Equipped with a 160 kV X-ray generator, the UNC160 provides penetration capability of up to approximately 100 mm aluminium or 20 mm iron, making it suitable for inspection of medium-density castings and structural components.
The system incorporates a five-axis C-arm motion mechanism to support multi-directional inspection and reduce blind areas. High-definition detector technology, CNC programmable movement and comprehensive image-processing software allow operators to inspect internal structures and identify defects such as porosity, voids, inclusions, cracks and casting abnormalities.
With a maximum inspection range of approximately Ø500 × 800 mm and a load capacity of up to 50 kg, the UNC160 can support a wide range of industrial quality-control and NDT applications.

Why Choose Us
UNICOMP
UNICOMP develops industrial X-ray inspection systems for electronics, automotive, casting, battery and general industrial non-destructive testing applications.
The UNC160 combines a high-penetration 160 kV X-ray source, multi-axis C-arm movement and digital image-processing technology to provide a practical solution for inspecting internal defects without damaging the component.
UNC160 Industrial NDT X-Ray System
The UNC160 is particularly suitable for manufacturers handling castings and structural components that require internal quality verification.
Its 100 mm aluminium penetration capability, Ø500 × 800 mm inspection range, 50 kg load capacity and five-axis C-arm positioning make it suitable for automotive castings, wheel components, resin cast parts and other medium-sized industrial products.
The combination of programmable positioning and digital image-analysis tools also allows inspection routines to be repeated more consistently than purely manual radiographic inspection.
