Overview
The KAAS CupelPro CF Series High-Temperature Cupellation Furnace is designed for laboratory experiments and production applications involving ash refining and pyrometallurgical assays.
With a rated temperature of up to 1200°C, the furnace provides a controlled high-temperature environment for cupellation processes and other applications requiring stable thermal conditions.
The furnace features a durable zinc anneal sheet-steel cabinet lined with alumina fire bricks and insulating refractory bricks, with additional Vermiculite insulation to support effective heat retention.
A K-type thermocouple provides accurate temperature sensing, while the electronic automatic temperature-control system supports stable furnace operation.
The furnace is also equipped with a pneumatic rising door operated by foot control, allowing convenient operation while keeping the hot furnace door away from the operator. Furnace Construction
Cabinet
The KAAS CupelPro CF Series uses a cabinet constructed from zinc anneal sheet steel.
The furnace is mounted on a console fabricated from zinc anneal sheet steel, while the external surface is finished using electrostatic spraying for a durable industrial appearance.
Refractory Lining
The hot face of the furnace chamber is constructed using alumina fire bricks, backed by insulating fire bricks.
The furnace is additionally supported by Vermiculite insulation board to improve thermal insulation and help retain heat within the chamber.
This refractory construction is designed to support operation at temperatures of up to 1200°C.
Temperature Control System
The CupelPro CF Series uses an electronic automatic temperature-control system with a K-type thermocouple.
